DSX 1021 Access Control System	The DSX-1021 controller may be used in conjunction with all other DSX Controllers as a Master or Slave in the controller network. The unitized 1021 controller contains an 80C88 processor, RAM, ROM, power supply, and field wiring terminals. Each DSX-1021 operates as a fully distributed processing controller that retains all data necessary for system operation in it's own RAM. Each DSX-1021 checks it's database to make decisions about access control, alarm monitoring, and time zone changes. The DSX-1021 has an integral real-time clock which allows all time zone events to continue even when communication to the PC is not available. The Host PC is a window into the controller network, a data base management tool, and a transaction storage device. Any DSX-1021 may be designated as a Master or Slave controller.
