Central Vacuum

Central vacuum systems function by using a centrally located vacuum pump that is connected (by a network of in-wall piping that can be added to pre-existing homes or homes still under construction) to special outlets placed in key positions around your home. When a central vacuum hose is inserted into one of these outlets, the pump comes to life and begins sucking air from the outlet, effectively creating a powerful, fully mobile vacuum that collects dirt into the remote vacuum pump, generally located in the garage and away from the air you breathe.
